- Meet a new kind of action hero. Six untraceable agents, totally off the grid. They've buried their pasts so they can change the future.
- Michael Bay
- Industrial Light & Magic
Raynault VFX was asked to create a fictional city entirely with computer graphic.
Fantastic... Fantastic… FANTASTIC!!! I want those guys to do all the shots!
- Designing an Entire City -
On 6 Underground, Raynault VFX worked on 102 shots, from the design to the final compositing. The design was a very important part of the process.
- This is Abuda Kong -
We named our city ''Abuda Kong''. It has a more modern style of architecture than Hong Kong, and is inspired by modern buildings found in Abu Dhabi and other cities.
- Abuda Kong's Iconic Buildings -
Abuda Kong needed to be vibrant, sexy and colorful. The geography of some of the most iconic buildings was sometimes ''cheated'' in order to get the best composition on every shot.
- Abuda Kong Around the Clock -
Throughout the movie, we see Abuda Kong at 3 different times of day, and of course from many different angles. What a great way to make the most out of the environment we had built!
- Cars & Explosions -
In addition to the city, Raynault VFX had to design a car chase involving CG vehicles, explosions and debris falling off the 80th floor! A Typical Michael Bay action sequence!
